I'de like to start a D&D campaigne which will prolly end up being played at the same time as nicks WoD game is going. ~The game has started and this is now the official OOC thread~
I would also like to warn all those who don't know me, I am not that great of a DM, i know all the basic rules and whatnot but as far as the actuall DMing goes I dont think I'm that good so bear with me, and tell me if im being boring or whatnot.
Since I have school I cant get on until after 6 at night (I live in moscow idaho so whatever timezone that is).
The campaigne will use only the core rulebooks for charecter creation. so you only get whats in the PHB, and DMG to create your charecter. It will be starting at 1st level. stats will be figured using the point buy system. you have 45 points for stats.
This is my first attempt at DMing a game online so it may not start out all that great.

sweet two players, alright well be sure to only use the 3 core books for charecter creation. This makes it easier for me as those are all I have. Post your charecters here so i can review them.

BIOGRAPHY Most of Ayden’s youth was spent working in a pub in the mining town he grew up in. There he heard stories of travel, adventure, wealth, and women from passing adventurers. Often enough he was in trouble for gambling his wages, and getting too fresh with the tavern wenches. He would set off on his own sometimes and climb in the foothills near his town and make up adventures. When he was old enough (16) he set off seeking his fortune. But he never found a fortune and instead tough times. A few guard jobs and a stint with a militia left him low on wages; couple that with a strong gambling habit (a sucker for dice) and Ayden is now a broke man. But he keeps on, even if it means taking the occasional odd job (once he got a job from a gnome pimp). Recently he gambled off his only mule and the last of his coppers, and was evicted. So he’s off again looking for an adventure and some work.
DESCRIPTION 5’10”, 240 lbs, Long Curly Red Hair, Hazel Eyes, Age 19, patched Traveler's pants but new(ish) boots (won them off a bum). He lost the cloak one day on the road one day so the rain bothers him often. And his shirt well, the bum won that one. Ayden is just a regular bloke. All too often he can’t afford a bath so he tends to smell. The large scar on his left arm came from a dispute with a gnome pimp.

only a few descrepencies. one is the scary feat, what does it do? If its the one that Nick posted you still should have asked if you could take it, like at the end of the post ask if you can have it and change it if i said no, as it is i dont mind it as long as its the one Nick posted.
two is your clothes. Are you just wearing your scale mail? cause that could chafe.
Now both of those are minor things that don't make to much difference but needed to be pointed out. the last is your skills.
Your climb skill with 4 points into it has a total modifier of +4 because your strength modifier and the -4 that you get from your armour cancle each other out. Same goes for your Jump skill. So your modifier is +4 when in armour and +8 when out of armour. Also Intimidate is a cross-class skill for a fighter. so the 4 points in it come out to 2 ranks. Add this to the +4 Str modifier you have for the scary feat and the total is +6 not 8
Other than those minor details your good to go.
