Hello out there good people! As many of you may or may not know, this weekend some of my friends are going to have a three day long birthday party. During part of this, there is going to be a level 20 D&D Death-match between about 5-10 people. many of the character concepts that i have seen that are being used leads me to believe that this will be one hell of a game.
You may already know what i desire to play. I love wands, and wand wizards are the best! They know nearly all of the spells that are out there to know and become very versatile with this. I am taking a couple of feats from "Complete Arcana"; Dual Wand Wielding, Reckless Wand Wielding, and Wand Strike. I thought that my character would be unstoppable 'till i learned completely by accident today that the highest level of spell usable on wands is fourth.
I know that that is there for a reason, but I would like to spend some time crafting a new feat that can crank this up. My idea is as follows...
Craft Wand, Greater Allows the mage to create even stronger wands. Benefit: Allows you to craft wands of higher caster levels, but increases the XP and GP cost by 10%
So, any helpful insights?

I would suggest that you make it require you to have already taken the craft wand feat, you might also want to put a inteligence minimum on it, so not just anyone can take it.
Also have the increase of XP and GP be 10% per level past fourth, so a 6th lvl spell would cost 20% more XP and GP and a 9th lvl would cost 50% more to make.
And finally it should only allow the making off wands up to 9th level, as epic lvl spells are far to strong to be held by simple wands.
But I think its a good idea.
